2023 Board Chair Letter to Consortium Supporters

Each year, the Board Chair releases a letter on behalf of the Board of Directors. Please see below to read the 2023 letter, also featured on page 2 of our most recent Annual Impact Report

Dear Consortium community,

As the chair of the board, it is with great joy that I share with you all the magnificent work that God has done in our schools over the past year. From the smallest actions of kindness to the biggest accomplishments, we have seen the hand of God at work in every corner of our six schools.

It is truly humbling to witness the growth and development of our students, staff, and families as they continue to flourish in a Catholic educational environment. We are blessed to have such dedicated educators who are committed to instilling our Catholic values in our students and preparing them to be leaders in our world.

As we look ahead to the next 10 years, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for what God has in store for our organization. Our mission to provide an exceptional Catholic education to our students remains as strong as ever, and we are committed to continuing our tradition of excellence. With that, we recently announced that Shannan Brommer will become the Consortium’s executive director. Earlier this year, the Board received a request from current executive director, Mike Goetz, to move into a part-time capacity, and we look forward to working with both Mike and Shannan in the coming years.

The expanded leadership team will include Mike Goetz in the new Director of Finance and Operations position, the existing Education Director, Andrew Bauer, as well as Advancement Director and Marketing Director positions, both of which are currently vacant.

Together, we will strive to foster a community of faith, fellowship, and service that will inspire our students to become compassionate and responsible citizens of our world. Let us trust in God’s plan for our schools and remain confident in His guidance as we move forward.

Thank you for your continued support of the Omaha Catholic School Consortium.

Sincerely,

Tammy Blossom
