Embracing Our Mission and Value

Living Our Faith and Values Every Day

  • At the Consortium, our mission and vision statements are more than words. These guiding principles shape every aspect of our community.
  • With six schools located throughout southeast Omaha, there’s a school near you to fit your family’s unique needs.
  • Be a part of our journey to educate, inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.
Support Our Schools

Jay Vankat, current board member, has a deep family legacy in South Omaha Catholic schools. Since his grandma Helen Bezousek graduated in 1918 from Assumption Grade School, 52 family members across four generations have attended Consortium schools. Jay’s sister, Jackie Buchta, was even a teacher at Sts. Peter and Paul!

Tobby, who was part of the St. Thomas More Class of 2024, received Creighton Prep’s Loyola Scholar Program Magis Award. He was one of the 45 Consortium students who have been selected for the competitive Loyola Scholar Program since 2016.

Grace and Renee: At a Consortium professional development event, a seasoned second-grade teacher and a newer colleague quickly formed a friendship. Despite teaching at different schools, they regularly share classroom management strategies and innovative teaching techniques. Their partnership shows the importance of teacher collaboration and the value of professional development and support within the Consortium network.

Catholic schools are a cornerstone of the South Omaha community. We intend to keep it that way, so generations of children can experience the transformative power of a quality education rooted in faith and values.
