During the course of the regular school day, students receive preparation and guidance for when it’s time to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. These milestones are celebrated as a school and parish community. Our teachers, staff and priests work closely with families to ensure that each child’s spiritual journey is meaningful and memorable.
Our students actively participate in the rich traditions of their Catholic faith on a daily basis. Each school community regularly gathers to celebrate Mass and receive the Eucharist together. Classrooms often pray the Rosary together and dedicate time daily to an all-school prayer.
Consortium staff and students of all ages spend time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Any amount of time spent in Adoration is a chance to deepen the relationship with Christ and gain a deeper understanding of God’s love.
It is the vision statement of the Consortium that we teach students to not only be leaders, but to also have a positive impact on society. All six of our schools encourage students to live out their faith through meaningful service projects and volunteer opportunities in the Omaha community. This looks like food drives and collections for other material goods, trash clean up in local neighborhood parks, reading buddy programs with younger students and more.
Visit each school’s individual websites and/or in person for more on how their discipleship shines through, including examples of all-school Mass, Kindness clubs, community service projects and more.
