  • Bequest in your will or trust
Bequest in your will or trust

It’s as simple as adding just one sentence to your will and/or naming the Omaha Catholic School Consortium as a beneficiary in your estate planning. It costs you nothing now but can make a life-changing difference for future students. Whether you give now or create a legacy gift plan, we can help you meet your financial and philanthropic goals.

We can also explore how to name the Consortium as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), pension, life insurance policy and more.

For supporters aged 70½ or older, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) or IRA Charitable Rollovers are a smart way to donate using your IRAs while potentially reducing your taxable income.

  • Gifts of Stocks and Bonds

Donating appreciated stocks can be a tax-effective way to make an impact on the lives of those the Consortium serves. You can avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase in value while still receiving a charitable deduction for the full market value of the stock.

The Consortium partners with the Catholic Future Foundation (CFF) of Northeast Nebraska to empower faith-filled Catholics who want to make a difference. For over 50 years, CFF has helped parishes, schools and ministries across our archdiocese flourish through long-term endowments. These funds secure scholarships, preserve ministries and support Catholic education. When you give, you’re investing in a future of faith for generations to come. Begin building your legacy of support for the Omaha Catholic School Consortium and our six schools today.

Planned Giving feature

invest in the future of catholic education

Planned gifts to the Consortium are simple and free to set up. This kind of impact is close to the hearts of Amy and Jay Vankat. The couple recently chose to name the Consortium in their estate plans by creating a named fund held by the Catholic Future Foundation to help with tuition assistance across our six schools. The two said of the process, “it was a small way to repay all of those whose sacrifices have benefitted us.”
