Leading the Way in Personalized Instruction

The Omaha Catholic Consortium member schools are paving the way for technology integration at Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Omaha. Our schools were the first in the Archdiocese to begin using a technology based assessment program to help teachers deliver individualized classroom instruction that improves student progress and achievement. This program, created by McGraw Hill, is known as Acuity. Acuity enables teachers to receive vital information easily and quickly regarding student learning. This information allows teachers to appropriately target and personalize instruction to each student.

On September 19, 2014, the principals of the consortium schools were featured speakers at the Omaha Acuity User’s Group Conference in West Point, Nebraska. During the conference, consortium principals provided guidance and leadership to other schools in the Archdiocese that will begin using Acuity during the 2014-2015 school year.
