Celebrating the Consortium Impact: Read the 2022-2023 Annual Report

You are invited to read the Omaha Catholic School Consortium Annual Impact Report, recapping the 2022-2023 school year.

This report summarizes the many highlights and accomplishments from the 2022-2023 fiscal year.  As we continue to celebrate 10 years of sustaining Catholic education in southeast Omaha, we can all be proud of the efforts focused on our core mission of providing an excellent academic and faith-filled Catholic education in southeast Omaha  — that is affordable and will be sustainable for generations to come. Catholic education in southeast Omaha has been present for over 100 years, and we are here to ensure it is around for the next 100 years!

Nearly 1,700 students benefit from a Christ-centered and future-ready education between the six Consortium schools.

Our six Catholic schools in southeast Omaha:

Dual Language Academy

 Holy Cross

Our Lady of Lourdes

St. Bernadette

Sts. Peter and Paul

 St. Thomas More

Some of our favorite pages of the report:
  • Academic Excellence (pages 8-9), which show positive test scores and introduces our new curriculum.
  • Family Feature (pages 10-11), featuring the conversion story of a mom and her sons from the St. Bernadette community; the Tooley family and what they are loving about Holy Cross; and Estela Rangel from Sts. Peter and Paul, now in her 26th year working in Catholic education.
  • Family Legacy (page 23), which describes the lasting legacy of Helen Bezousek Vankat, who graduated from Assumption Catholic School in South Omaha in 1918.  A total of 52 relatives across the next 4 generations followed and graduated from Catholic schools within the Consortium family.

Throughout the pages of this report, you will learn more about them–our students–and their families, teachers and supporters. As you read, please think of how you may want to become more involved. You can make a difference in the lives of our students in many ways.  Let us know if you have any questions about our work or how you can help.
